King Cydal Drops ‘Reign’ Album Featuring B-Legit, Tone Capone, Willie Hen + More

East Menlo Park, California artist King Cydal just dropped his latest release, Reign. This 8-track effort features collaborations with notable artists such as Willie Hen of Scarface‘s group The Product, Cyda Lean, Hitta Slim, and legendary Vallejo artist B-Legit. The production on Reign is handled by a talented roster of producers, including multi-platinum producer Tone Capone, DJ Rell, Stagmotta, and Cyda Lean.

King Cydal is no stranger to the Bay Area music scene, having produced tracks for well-known artists such as San Quinn, Ya Boy, Big Rich, B-Jada, and J. Davinci, among many others. Some of his productions have become Bay Area radio hits, including Ya Boy’s “Turf To Da Club” off his Rookie Of The Year album. His ability to create captivating beats and work with a diverse range of artists speaks to his versatility and talent as a producer.

In February 2009, King Cydal released his first mixtape, titled Concrete Collection Volume I. The mixtape garnered a strong buzz, leading to the release of his first official album, Ya Blocks Host, in June of the same year. On this album, King Cydal self-produced all but two songs, showcasing his skills as both a producer and an artist.

Since then, King Cydal has released several mixtapes, including Royal Solution, Concrete Collection Volume II, and King Cydal Presents: Bay Top 10 For 2011, which he recorded in just three days. In 2012, he released the mixtape Catfish & Prawns, followed by his second studio album, Calamari & Shrimp.

In recent years, King Cydal has continued to make an impact in the music industry. His most current releases and appearances include his 2022 album, Cydal Says, as well as being featured on B-Legit’s 2023 album, Throwblock Music II: 88′ D Boi on the songs “House on a Hill” and “Roller Coaster.”
