Three-time Grammy Award-winning producer Dem Jointz, from Dr. Dre‘s world-famous ICU production team through Aftermath Entertainment, has officially joined with entertainment industry executive and mega-manager Stan Sheppard to establish (3) musical education centers called: three educational centers: The Hub & Dub Institute Of Peace, The Los Angeles Institute Of Peace, and The Chicago Institute Of Peace.
These educational centers will teach young Black teenagers from various areas all of the aspects of original music composition. The centers will offer mentoring and legal services as they apply to original music productions composed by the students.
As Stan Sheppard states, ”There’s been an over-abundance of Black death and Black musical negativity that has ruled the inner-city airwaves for way too long.”
In addition to Dem Jointz, other notable names attached in establishing these musical education centers include multi-platinum producers Dae One and Chilly Chill, global humanitarian, peacemaker, and “Queen Mother of Ghana’s Central Region Mannkessim Africa” Lisa Smith-Mattox, Compton, California promotional and marketing representative Derek Smith, Octavius Miller, the CEO/Owner of The West Coast Hip Hop Awards, and Corporate/Entertainment Attorney Stephon Wilson to name a few.
Dem Jointz and Stan Sheppard have a long history together reaching back to when the Grammy Award-winning producer first started on his mission to become what he is today, a certified musical genius who has worked with some of the biggest names in music including Janet Jackson, Eminem, Christina Aguilera, Snoop Dogg, Kendrick Lamar, Kanye West, Mount Westmore, and several others.
