Grammy Award-winning duo Nas and Hit-Boy dropped their latest collaborative project Magic 3, a 15-track album featuring Lil Wayne, and in doing so close out an amazing era.
The 9-track album Magic, featuring A$AP Rocky and DJ Premier, kicked off the trilogy in December of 2021 as the incredible “Wave Gods” had Nas and DJ Premier collaborating for the first time since 2011’s “Regeneration”. The sequel, Magic 2, was an11-track album featuring 50 Cent and 21 Savage was released in July of this year.
In August 2020 their first collaborative album, King’s Disease, was released featuring Big Sean, Don Toliver, Lil Durk, Anderson .Paak, The Firm, Fivio Foreign, A$AP Ferg, and went on to win Nas’ first ever Grammy Award for Best Rap Album at the 2021 Grammy Awards.
King’s Disease II was released at the end of 2021 and featured Eminem, Lauryn Hill, EPMD, YG, and others on the 2022 Grammy-nominated album.
The third installment of the King’s Disease trilogy, King’s Disease III, was released in November 2022.
