Compton’s Jay Worthy & legendary, multi-platinum producer DJ Muggs of Cypress Hill and Soul Assassins just dropped their latest visual, the “Black Sunday Interlude (Cypress Hill)” music video, directed by Stro of New High Filmz.
In an Instagram post from Muggs, he says of the video, “Worthy an me was in the middle of recording WTH4 an he said – He’s wants to bust on the Black Sunday Interlude A lot of muthafuckers been loving that interlude 4 years but nobody ever spit on it — a few days later bam – this heat rock blasting out the speakers — this shit right here is the PAST the PRESENT an the FUTURE all at the same time — video is out now shot by the homie @newhighfilmz – with all the homie up in here @im.t.f @2eleven @chitoveraufc @alanthechemist @rocmarci @dough_networkz @breal @sendog @cypresshill ☠️☠️SOUL ASSASSINS WORLD WIDE”
The “Interlude” is track number 7 off the 1993 Black Sunday album from Cypress Hill via Ruffhouse / Columbia Records. The lead single, “Insane In The Brain”, propelled the iconic group’s sophomore album to a 3x platinum-selling release.
