Grammy Award-winning producer E-A-Ski, fresh off his Billboard success with Ice Cube‘s “It’s My Ego,” has shared a preview of a new collaboration with Hayward, California’s own Mr. Jet Black for a track called “One Of One.”
Since the early 1990s, E-A-Ski has shaped the sound of West Coast hip-hop, crafting hits for genre titans like Ice Cube, Master P, Spice 1 and numerous others. His recent work on Ice Cube’s eleventh album Man Down proves his continued influence, with “It’s My Ego” dominating multiple Billboard charts and introducing his signature production style to new audiences.
Mr. Jet Black emerges from the Bay Area’s contemporary scene with a growing catalog of incredible work. His 2022 release The Blackprint stood out as an ambitious 25-track journey featuring local artists Aobie, AV, and Jay Luck. Building on this momentum, 2024 saw him collaborate with Allybo & Shill Macc on MudBrothaz 2, released through Hard Earned Digital Distribution.
