Styles P and araabMUZIK have joined forces for the new single “Ghost Of Gotham,” bringing together two veterans whose histories are deeply rooted in New York hip-hop.
Released September 9 through Araabmuzik, LLC, the 3:25 track pairs Styles P’s unmistakable street perspective with araabMUZIK behind the boards, continuing a connection between the producer and The LOX that stretches back years.
For Styles P, “Ghost Of Gotham” arrives during an active stretch as he moves toward the closing chapter of his solo recording career. The LOX veteran announced plans to retire from solo albums in 2022, and recently previewed music from what he has described as a three-part final album built around the past, present and future versions of “The Ghost.”
The collaboration also adds to an increasingly busy run for araabMUZIK. Just five days before “Ghost Of Gotham,” the Providence producer teamed with Fuse of 808 Mafia for the 11-track Womanizer, released September 4. The project features Swizz Beatz on “Date Night,” K Camp on “Head Shots,” along with appearances from Sy Ari Da Kid, Landstrip Chip, Kobe Honeycutt and Keyiara.
araabMUZIK first became widely known as the “MVP of the MPC” through his work with Dipset before expanding a production résumé that includes The LOX, Swizz Beatz, 50 Cent, A$AP Rocky, Lloyd Banks, Joe Budden, Benny The Butcher, Dave East and numerous others. His sound eventually moved beyond traditional hip-hop production into electronic music, highlighted by 2011’s influential Electronic Dream and its long-awaited sequel, Electronic Dream 2, released in 2025.
With Womanizer arriving September 4 and “Ghost Of Gotham” following September 9, araabMUZIK continues to move comfortably between projects and sounds while reconnecting with one of New York hip-hop’s most recognizable voices.
