Music icon Ice Cube has electrified the hip-hop landscape with his 11th studio album, Man Down, a bold project cementing his enduring artistic relevance. The album’s Al Green-inspired lead single, “It’s My Ego,” was crafted by Grammy Award-winning producer E-A-Ski.
Expanding the track’s reach, Cube strategically released the “Ego Maniacs” remix, featuring hip-hop heavyweights Killer Mike and Busta Rhymes. Today (January 23), he announced a third iteration of the single, enlisting Houston pioneer Scarface for a collaborative 3mix version.
The single’s commercial success is evident in its impressive Billboard performance, securing the #7 spot on the Rap Digital Song Sales chart and #8 on the R&B/Hip-Hop Digital Song Sales chart.
Earlier today, Cube unveiled a cinematic ode to Los Angeles with the Gabriel Hart-directed “Rollin’ at Twilight” music video.
