American Idol alum and multi-platinum artist Jordin Sparks is set to release her latest single, “Remember,” a fresh take on Michael Jackson‘s renowned track. The song is produced by Grammy Award-winner Dem Jointz and Cameron “300Cam” Biles.
Originally penned by Michael Jackson, Teddy Riley, and Bernard Belle, “Remember” has been revitalized under Sparks’ direction. Sparks, who serves as executive producer alongside Dana Thomas, Jovan J. Dawkins, and U Made Us What We Are, brings her distinctive style to this reimagined classic.
In a press release, sparks admired Jackson’s work, stating, “I’ve always been mesmerized by Michael Jackson’s music. To blend his legendary sound with my own is a dream come true. This track has an irresistible groove – those 808’s will make you feel it deep in your bones and get you moving from the first beat!”
“Remember” is a preview of Sparks’ upcoming album, No Restrictions, scheduled for release on September 13, 2024. This announcement follows her recent success with KING + COUNTRY on “Love Me Like I Am.”
Fans can catch Sparks live on her “No Restrictions Live & Intimate” tour, kicking off on August 26, 2024.
