Roscoe Of The DPG Drops New Single “Only Fans” Via I Love Cali Records

Roscoe has recently released his latest single “Only Fans” through I Love Cali Records.

Hailing from Philadelphia, Roscoe was first introduced to the world of hip-hop by his brother, Kurupt, a member of the legendary rap group Tha Dogg Pound and Death Row Records. At just ten years old, Roscoe flew out to California to watch his brother work on Tha Dogg Pound’s debut album. Inspired by the experience, Roscoe began honing his skills as a rapper, collaborating with Kurupt and soaking in the West Coast beats that would come to define his sound.

Roscoe made his debut on his brother’s album Tha Streetz Iz a Mutha, catching the attention of producer Daz Dillinger, who helped him put together his first mixtape, When the Pain Inflict, in 2001. The mixtape received positive reviews from the underground scene, leading Roscoe to sign with Priority Records to release his debut album, Young Roscoe Philaphornia. With production from acclaimed producers like DJ Quik, Soopafly and Organized Noize, Roscoe quickly made a name for himself in the industry.

In addition to his solo work, Roscoe has also made a name for himself as a talented songwriter, penning what Too Short told Chad Kiser during an interview for HipHopDX in 2012 was his greatest verse ever on an unreleased track produced by Dr. Dre for the scrapped album, Detox.
