Suga Free & Sporty Gear Up To Release “Get Cha Mind Right” Single Off Upcoming ‘Street Communion’ Collab Album

As the summer heat rises, so does the anticipation for new music that promises to be the season’s soundtrack. Suga Free, a stalwart of West Coast hip-hop, along with Sporty, is set to release their new single “Get Cha Mind Right” on June 15th. This track heralds the arrival of their forthcoming collaborative album, Street Communion, a project that is expected to captivate listeners with its authentic representation of the genre.

The road to Street Communion has been paved with significant milestones for Suga Free. Last year, he graced the hip-hop community with the SugaKane album, a collaborative effort with Kokane that featured a diverse production team, including Ant Banks, Big Zeke, Tha Chill, and Cutty Dre. Suga Free also dropped the single “Don’t Ask Me,” produced by ProHoeZak and featuring Kurupt of Tha Dogg Pound, which resonated with fans for its raw energy and seamless fusion of talents.

Suga Free unveiled the cover art for “Sunny Side Up” at the beginning of this year in a move that showcases his versatility and commitment to family. This lead single from his upcoming and final album, Mr. P Body, is a father-daughter collaboration with his 16-year-old daughter, Royal Rock, symbolizing a passing of the torch to the next generation of artists.

Known for his distinctive style, Suga Free has left an indelible mark on hip-hop with his engaging narratives and memorable performances. His body of work, including albums like Street Gospel and The Resurrection, has not only defined him as a West Coast legend but also as a creative force who continues to inspire and influence the genre.
