Dr. Dre Announces New Eminem Album Is On The Way

Following the prestigious honor of receiving the 2,775th star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame right in front of Jimmy Kimmel Studios, legendary record producer and hip-hop icon Dr. Dre, alongside Snoop Dogg, 50 Cent, and music mogul Jimmy Iovine, made a memorable appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live. During the show, Dr. Dre took the opportunity to make a highly anticipated announcement – a new Eminem album is on the horizon, set to be released this year.

In an exciting revelation, Dr. Dre shared, “Eminem is working on his own album which is coming out this year, and I actually talked to him, and he said it was okay for me to make that announcement right here on this show. So yeah, the album is coming out, I got songs on it, and it’s fire.” He expressed his enthusiasm about listening to the entire album for the first time the following day, highlighting Eminem’s secretive nature when it comes to sharing his music. Dr. Dre’s involvement in the production process was evident as he mentioned having parts to mix and complete for the upcoming album.

The last time Eminem released a full-length project was over four years ago with his 11th solo studio album, Music to Be Murdered By, on January 17, 2020.
