Above The Law Drops “Str8 Out Of Pomona” Featuring Cold 187um

ATL recently dropped the new single, “Str8 Out Of Pomona”, featuring Cold187um, who also produced the track, giving fans a taste of what to expect from the project.

Speaking exclusively with Chad Kiser, during the release of last year’s “Gangsta” single, Cold 187um shared details about the new album, stating that Pomona Love: The Book Of Cold 187um Vol I will consist of ten new G-funk hip-hop bangers, all produced by Cold 187um himself. He emphasized the importance of keeping the legacy of Above The Law alive and stated that moving forward, all projects will be released under the name Above The Law featuring Cold 187um. This collaboration marks a new chapter in the group’s storied career and promises to deliver the classic sound that fans have come to love.

Cold 187um, a former Ruthless Records artist and producer, has been making waves in the hip-hop scene with his recent projects, including the 10-track album Above The Law Presents: The Resurrection Of Gangster Rap. The album features long-time collaborator Kokane on tracks such as “Real Mutha Fucka” and “Funkum”, showcasing the group’s continued relevance in the genre.

Above The Law, which emerged from the eastern Los Angeles suburb of Pomona, made a name for themselves as part of the post-N.W.A explosion of California gangsta rap.
