DMV-based rap group Team Demo recently dropped their latest single, “Creep.” The track features the legendary MC Eiht and Montage Øne, two rap icons who bring their unique styles and lyrical prowess. “Creep” is a captivating glimpse into Team Demo’s upcoming album, It’s A Demo, which is set to be released on December 15th.
“Creep” is a testament to Team Demo’s ability to collaborate with industry heavyweights and deliver compelling performances. MC Eiht, of Compton’s Most Wanted, known for his smooth delivery and authentic West Coast sound, adds a layer of grittiness to the track. The founding members of DMV-based, Team Demo, have been making hip-hop records together for over thirty years – first making noise in the mid-90s as the Lower Life Forms and Optical the Visionary before reintroducing themselves in 1998 as the self-produced group, Team Demolition. In addition to releasing two studio albums and multiple 12-inch singles as artists, the crew produced records for an extensive list of independent and major clients. In 2009, they scored their first Gold certification for their production of 50 Cent’s, “Crime Wave.”
In the decade-plus since, Team Demo has continued to be a force within hip-hop production; working with such artists as Sean Price, Illa Ghee, Kurious, Wais P, Sauce Money, Ras Kass, The Liks, Brand Nubian, and dozens of others.
