Iconic multi-hyphenate Ludacris is one of the most respected names in the hip-hop game. Now, he’s teaming up with another iconic face, Jake from State Farm, to sing the brand’s famous jingle and stop one couple’s roof from “making it rain” in a new TV commercial debuting Nov. 24.
Ludacris is joining State Farm as a long-standing “Good Neighbor” to infuse a little optimism into unexpected moments and show how State Farm is always there. The work is part of a new marketing campaign, The Right Kind of Magic, to help people recover from unexpected moments as Ludacris does.
The rapper-actor is the featured talent in the new State Farm ad titled This is Ludacris. He is part of several celebrity faces appearing in the new campaign to educate people about insurance and the value of State Farm agents, which will all begin debuting on Nov. 24 and feature work throughout the year.
“Everyone has moments where they need a helping hand, and surrounding yourself with a community of good neighbors is one of the best ways to make life more enjoyable,” said Ludacris. “That’s why teaming up with State Farm was a perfect fit for me, and I’m excited to bring this campaign to life with the iconic jingle and Jake from State Farm.”
