Warren G Talks Introducing Snoop Dogg To Dr. Dre, Working On “Ain’t No Fun”, Not Signing To Death Row Records + More On Big Boy’s Neighborhood

Grammy-nominated producer, and Long Beach, California legend Warren G recently stopped by the neighborhood to speak with Big Boy about introducing Snoop Dogg to Dr. Dre, the story behind The Chronic album, and his relationship with Suge Knight. The G-Funk pioneer speaks on why he wasn’t signed to Death Row Records, remembers writing “Ain’t No Fun”, discusses his multi-platinum-selling album Regulate, and reveals that he almost bailed 2Pac out of jail.

Last year, the G-Child dropped a preview of a smooth, laid-back, as-of-yet-untitled track via social media with the caption reading, “It’s time for it the summer is officially up get ready it’s coming!”

In the clip, Warren drops a snippet of a verse that goes, “Big G-Dub, you know the name / team G-funk, you know the gang / D-T-F you know what I’m saying / you got that GPS, you know where I stay at”
