West Coast artist/actor/entrepreneur Xzibit recently dropped by the neighborhood to speak with Big Boy about working with Dr. Dre, Eminem, King T, and Snoop Dogg. In celebration of 50 years of hip-hop, he explains the stories behind some of his most iconic songs, remembers performing for 250,000 people, and explains how he started working with Dre with the song “Bitch Please”. Xzibit also recalls hosting Pimp My Ride, discusses the Up In Smoke tour, and shares his previous stage names. Plus, he reveals that his next album, King Maker, might be his last solo project.
Xzibit recently took to social media to let fans know that his long-awaited 8th solo album King Maker is in the final stages of coming together, and is ready for mixing and mastering.

Earlier this year, Mr. X to tha Z revealed he has an upcoming record with Pomona, California legend Suga Free being put together for the project, saying in an Instagram post, “Locked one In with @officialsugafreethapimp I can’t wait to deliver this project to you all. #KINGMAKER.”
During a Conversations With Chad interview last year, Xzibit said about King Maker, “I got a lot of great music I’ve been working on. I’ve got a lot of great ideas. I really like the direction of what I’ve done. I think my fans, my true fans, are really going to appreciate it. It’s starting to feel like this is my opus.”
