West coast producer Tha Chill, of Compton’s Most Wanted, preps the latest single, “Knoc Knoc”, from his upcoming Ultimate Gangsta Shit. The new song, featuring Mofak, is slated to arrive on March 31st via Boomdocz Productions.
In October of last year, Tha Chill dropped the lead single “Bankroll”, featuring the bay area ambassador and Mount Westmore group member E-40, along with Le$Laflame and Dovble R. The Compton’s Most Wanted founding member also released “Moparcin,” featuring the late Coolio, along with a Westlyfe-directed music video.
On working with the legendary Coolio, Tha Chill exclusively told Chad Kiser in late 2022, “Coolio always has that G vibe to me and when I got the chance to produce and rock with my big bro of 30 years I had to keep that same energy. I’m all about keeping us OGs legacy alive because it’s people that still want it and miss it. So, we did the joint and called my boy Big Ray [Westlyfe] in and a bunch of lowriders and homies like Wino, Kurupt, Taz from Tha Liks , BG Knocc Out, and more and did the video. Me, personally, I had a blast doing this jam and the video. Shot out to the culture, that’s what it’s for. MOPARCIN!”
The upcoming album Ultimate Gangsta Shit features E-40, Glasses Malone, Squeak Ru, J-Dee of Da Lench Mob, and others, with additional production from D Ace and Rob Tee.
