Rick Rock, the multi-platinum producer for Jay-Z, 2Pac, E-40, Busta Rhymes, Mount Westmore, and others, just dropped his new single “I Admire You”, off the upcoming Grind Grind Grind Then Shine / The Forward Movement Project.
The new Grind Grind Grind Then Shine / The Forward Movement Project double album will feature guest appearances from the likes of Snoop Dogg, Kokane, Stresmatic of The Federation, Battle Locco, and others.
Speaking exclusively to Chad Kiser late last year, the Bay Area producer said about the upcoming project, “The first album Grind Grind Grind Then Shine is more slaps, claps, and blaps back to back, more up-tempo. It has a lot of clips from different artists speaking on me, from back in the day to now. And it shows that I’ve been grind, grind, grinding and it takes time to shine. The second album is more introspective, definitely more musical, a few more hip-hop. It’s more grown on that side. That side is the forward movement, that’s like moving forward in life, the growner side.”
