As Ice Cube, E-40, and Too Short, of the west coast supergroup Mount Westmore, make the rounds in promoting their just-released 16-track album Snoop Cube 40 $hort, the trio sat down with The Bootleg Kev podcast and discussed a number of topics including E-40 clarifying his statement about Busta Rhymes eating Eminem in a Verzuz battle, revealing that the long-awaited Dr. Dre feature will be included on the uber-group’s next album release, and why there was such a long wait between the Bad MF’s NFT album drop and the Snoop Cube 40 $hort release.
The group also shares with Bootleg Kev the collaborations they each want to do, with Ice Cube saying he wants to collaborate with Eminem, Rakim, and Nas, E-40 wants features with Jay-Z, Nas, Q-Tip, KRS One, and Em, while Too Short says he his only answer is to have himself, Missy Elliott and Timbaland on the same record.
Ice Cube also reveals that Eminem and 50 Cent are the reasons the N.W.A reunion album, with Snoop Dogg, never materialized. Cube said, “We were about to get into it and then he met Eminem and then he met 50 Cent. [Smiles] He met those two dudes and that just took his attention. We will now get something out of Dre. He has been sending me a lot of music.”
