Flipper’s Roller Boogie Palace Honors Dr. Dre’s “The Chronic” For Its 30th Anniversary With ‘The Chronic Skate’ Release

Flipper’s Roller Boogie Palace founder Liberty Ross honors long-time friend Dr. Dre, with the creation of the official, limited edition skate for the 30th anniversary of Dr. Dre’s 1992 Death Row Records album, The Chronic. The launch of the line coincides with the public opening of Flipper’s Roller Boogie Palace in London today – November 11th.

The Chronic Skate was engineered by Paris-based Flaneurz – the premier creators of detachable and customized roller skates. The skate reflects Dr. Dre’s favorite, signature white trainers and features the iconic Chronic leaf.

Skate enthusiasts and die-hard sneakerheads can get their hands on a pair of skates via sweepstakes registration on flippers.world between 10th – 14th of November. The winners of the two signed pairs of authenticated and numbered skates will be announced on the 15th of November.

Additionally, a limited number of The Chronic Skate will be released for purchase with the style not tipped for re-release. They will be available in-store at Flipper’s London and the Flipper’s New York City Retail Shop on the 16th of November and on NTWRK on the 17th. Excluding the sweepstakes, all pairs are allocated on a first-come first served basis.
