Inspired by the Ice Cube & Sir Jinx-produced classic “How To Survive In South Central” off of the Boyz N The Hood soundtrack, San Francisco artist Yung Lott teamed up with the bay area ambassador E-40, Black C of the RBL Posse, and San Diego’s Mitchy Slick for the Mekanix-produced “How To Survive” single, featuring WestCoast Stone on the vocal box, as well as the Josh Fields-directed music video.
Yung Lott is the true statement and meaning of weathering the storm because even when it looks like this man is done and over with he always resurfaces with something that will blow your mind.
