DC Wavvy Preps Upcoming Debut Album Via Nu Music Group; Drops “Tasmanian Devil” Single

DC Wavvy is a 20-year-old recording artist originally from Washington, D.C. who relocated to Pasadena, California during his freshman year in high school.  After the release of his second song, “Miami”, he was approached by independent music label Nu Music Group to produce his first studio album.  Although Wavvy waited for the completion of high school to dive into recording, he did not wait for the completion of his album to start performing at clubs and parties.

Wavvy’s popularity on the school party scene grew to be known as “Wavvy Fridays” and spurred him to make new songs to perform on Friday nights. Taking advantage of his ability to draw a crowd, Wavvy created merchandise to help his supporters contribute to his process and not just his conclusions. DC Wavvy’s brand embraces the hustle and ambition needed to get through school life. The pursuit of educational goals while developing a passion for music is what is on display when you see DC Wavvy in action.

The pains and joys of life as a private school kid transitioning into college life are what you hear in his melodic flow and bouncy vibes when you play a track. 2021’s “Blast Off” was the first single to be released from DC Wavvy’s upcoming album release.

Wavvy is currently on a journey that includes finishing his album and surviving freshman life at Oregon University. His daily journey can be followed on his Instagram and other social media feeds.

“Tasmanian Devil” is the latest single to be released from Wavvy’s upcoming album release and can be listened to below:
