Pulitzer Prize-winning rapper Kendrick Lamar has officially announced that his fifth studio album, Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers, will be dropping on May 13, 2022.
Taking to social media yesterday (April 18), and in response to a tweet claiming the Compton native had officially retired, Kendrick provided a link to his oklama.com website, which announced the album and release date on pgLang letterhead. pgLang is the the name of K.Dot’s company.
“The following statement was released today by oklama, through his company pgLang at 11:00am PT in Los Angeles, CA,” the press release reads. “Album: ‘Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers.’ Release date: 5/13/2022.”
“All factual information for this release will come directly from this source only.”
