Former Slaughterhouse members Kxng Crooked and Joell Ortiz just dropped their collaborative album the Rise and Fall of Slaughterhouse, featuring Blakk Soul, Sly Pyper, and Traxx Sanders. Production on the project is handled by the likes of DJ Silk from Dr. Dre‘s Aftermath Entertainment, DJ Pain 1, Fong Sai U, The Heatmakerz, Hesami & Jim Gittum.
The Long Beach / Brooklyn connect detail the rise and fall of Slaughterhouse, the 4 man supergroup consisting of Joe Budden, Royce da 5’9”, Kxng Crooked and Joell Ortiz. After releasing their independent debut album Slaughterhouse in 2009, the group signed to the Eminem-headed Shady Records imprint, where they released their 2012 album Welcome to: Our House on Shady/Interscope. After their third album GlassHouse saw repeated delays the group disbanded in 2018.
