As he preps the upcoming J-Dee’s Revenge Vol. 1 : Success is My Revenge, J-Dee of The Lench Mob drops a brand-new single entitled “Put It All Together”, produced by Tha Chill of Compton’s Most Wanted.
The new track finds J-Dee reflecting back over the years of his early career working with DJ Pooh, Ice Cube, WC, building Da Lench Mob, and paying respects to the west coast legacy with shout outs to several west coast pioneers throughout the track like Alonzo Williams, Tone Loc, Arabian Prince, MC Eiht, Dr. Dre, Mixmaster Spade, DJ Aladdin, The D.O.C. and others.
The new record was also produced by Tha Chill, who spoke exclusively to Chad Kiser about working with J-Dee on the song saying, “I been knowing J-Dee for over 30 years. To have him back home is a blessing. It’s like a real one has returned to the game to help shed some light on our lane of music . I felt it was only right to get him in the lab and encouraging him that there’s a still a lane for what we do and that there’s folks that miss that voice . Put It All Together is our gift to the streets, letting motherfuckers know we still talking that shit.”
The Westlyfe-directed video, with cameos by Kurupt of Tha Dogg Pound, Kid Frost and others, was dedicated to the memory of J-Dee’s fallen Lench Mob comrade Shorty.
