Iconic West Coast hip-hop label Death Row Records launched the ‘Experience On Death Row’ virtual exhibition commemorating its 30th anniversary this year.
The virtual museum offers a retrospective of the label’s history, its rise under the guidance of super-producer Dr. Dre and bodyguard-turned-music mogul Marion “Suge” Knight. The “experience” also takes a look at the label’s pioneering and legendary artists including 2pac, Tha Dogg Pound, Snoop Dogg, The Lady of Rage and more, as well as the classic albums released from the label like The Chronic, Doggystyle, Dogg Food, and All Eyez On Me.
Also included in the virtual exhibition are 30 Easter Eggs to celebrate 30 years of the imprint, NFT’s created by digital designer and crypto artist TillaVision.
Fans will be able to find and discover rare collectibles such as liner notes, medallions that redirect to NFT, and are also encouraged to get involved in the exhibition by uploading their own photos and videos of their favorite Death Row artists and releases.. These items can include concert photos, concert footage and vintage ticket stubs, etc. Fan submissions will be made public from June 30th.
